About Paula Torres:

Graduated in Law School at PUC-RJ, Paula Torres always had a passion for history of art, arquiteture and drawing. After graduating she spent some time living in London and New York, where she got to know the work of Mark Jacobs, Manolo Blahnik e Jimmy Choo, discovering her real passion: Designing shoes.

Back in Brazil, Paula Torres started to make shoes and produce to many different brands. In 2007 she decided to make her own brand “Paula Torres”. With an Atelier in São Paulo, she works for 10 diferent stores that buys the shoes she draw and sells with her brand. With all the production made in Sapiranga RS Paula Torres produces around 2 thousand pairs per month, some of them in limited editions. Her creation was already sold to Dubai on the Arabes Emirates.

From the simple shoes,peep toes to that glamorous high hills, her collections are very beautiful for women and characterized by the mixture of different materials and colors, always with little details in brazilian rocks. The conjunction of elegance, comfort and style, are little gifts to a woman feet. This is the woman that wears Paula Torres.

In 2009, a new partnership made Paula Torres brand expand its market.

Daniela V Appolonio Bastos, her new partner, graduated in architecture at Sao Paulo´s FAAP University, took an architecture course in Florence, Italy, and has a broad experience in architecture firms and decoration offices, such as Artefacto and Capolavoro.

The partnership of these two competent professionals, contributes effectively to the success of this well-known and consagrated women’s handmade brand.
